Our Story

Renaissance Coffee was founded in 1996 to support the students and faculty that have chosen to push themselves further and the other professionals that guide them. For 25 years, we have fed thousands within our growing community while continuously supporting students, clubs, and events alike. A good meal can drive how the rest of the day goes; our goal is to make sure that you always have a warm and welcoming place to come to study, eat, and relax whenever you need it the most.

Founded by Mr. and Mrs. Parhar, Renaissance Coffee has become a staple and a tradition to visit within the SFU community. Mr. Parhar himself comes every day at 5:00 am to make sure that when they open their doors an hour later, you have a warm smile and food waiting for you. 

We are thankful for the support given to us and are slowly reaching our goal of a 1-million-dollar endowment fund for students. Through snowstorms, pandemics, and any future trials, we will continue to serve our community one cup at a time.
